Having worked in two very different worlds, (Financial Services and Education), Paul and Matthew Bennett made the decision to start a consultancy that focuses on the common strands they both saw that led to extraordinary outcomes: that organisational culture is everything when it comes to success.
After a varied career in the Law, Marketing and HR, Paul spent the last 10 years specialising in behavioural science; exploring how colleagues and customers think in order to improve the way we talk to each other. He specialised in bringing a qualitative & quantitative understanding of culture to a FTSE 100 bank, helping senior leaders to act on data-led insights and create outstanding cultural change leading to lasting, positive shifts in values-driven behaviour that demonstrate clear return on investment. He is a small business mentor, a professional speaker and an accomplished executive coach.
Matthew’s was working in education for 23 years, spending 11 of those in Senior Leadership, managing teams of professionals as well as working with executive stakeholders. He saw, first hand, how a culture designed with intent allowed him to bring about rapid change and extraordinary improvement with happy and invested employees, no matter the stresses and strains that come with running a large school. Following an MSc in Learning and Teaching from Oxford University, an MBA, and as a qualified executive coach, Matthew is now keen to use his skills and understanding of the way people think and act, to help change organisational culture for others.
And so, their two worlds came together to create Willow Ethos, a consultancy with the sole purpose of acting as a catalyst for transformative change, dedicated to evolving extraordinary cultures that propel businesses to achieve their potential.
